A customer stopped by for a Targa Top install this morning. We swapped all over the oem parts over in no time, and it fit prefect!

We just made a Carbon Fiber Targa Top for the Del Sol, it is light weight and looks amazing! Installation is a breeze, all of the OEM parts bolt on and snap together just like the original metal panel.

We recently got our hands on this rare Parts Station Duce (Now Discontinued) body kit from japan for the NA Miata, unfortunately it has seen better days. The sides skirts are in multiple pieces and the rear is not much better then the front. As we say around here anything can be fixed especially when it is made out of fiberglass. We will be posting updates of the repair as we go.

Steve completed the mold today, and began wet sanding any imperfections in the gelcoat.

Applying the PVA (Mold Release) to the Plug, prevents the mold from sticking.

Both sides of our wing will be finished, so we will need to create a closed mold. Which means there will be two half’s, the first step to create the top half of the mold is to define a parting line, and create a flange. A quick, easy way to make the flange is to use playing cards.

After hours of Sanding, priming and more sanding the plug is finally complete. The next step will be making the mold and producing the final product.
